HTC Practitioner Certification: Level 2

Train to deliver the method that reaches what your existing toolkit can't.

6-month high-touch practitioner certification. Bi-weekly live group training with Alexia, supervised practice, case studies, certification assessment.

Next cohort: October 2026.

What you'll be able to do after Level 2.

Level 2 is professional practitioner certification. Six months in, you'll be able to:

  • Deliver Head Trash Clearance with clients: confidently, ethically, with structure behind you
  • Integrate HTC into your existing practice: therapy, coaching, somatic work, organisational practice, performance work, whatever frame you operate in
  • Conduct professional energetic testing with clients, to identify what's running them, what to clear next, when to escalate
  • Track patterns and emotional root-causes across sessions, including identity-level material
  • Work with conditions like anxiety: unpack the root drivers and plan a programme of work that leads to resolution
  • Hold trauma-aware sessions safely: the method doesn't require reliving the wound, which protects both client and practitioner
  • Recognise when wound-level work is indicated: and either deliver it yourself (after Level 3) or refer clients into the right pathway
  • Develop your own digital products that enable you to earn passive income
  • Run group programmes so you can scale your impact, reach and revenue
  • Build a practice that grows from the work itself: supported by the ecosystem, not dependent on chasing leads

This isn't a "weekend certification." It's six months of structured, supervised, assessed training delivered by Alexia personally. That runway is deliberate: it's long enough for the method to properly integrate, so you finish confident in your ability to deliver it, rather than certified and quietly unsure whether you're doing it right.

Six months. Three broad arcs of work.

Level 2 runs across six months, and the work moves through three broad arcs:

Deepening

Deepening your understanding of the method

Refine your delivery of the core method with practice partners. Build energetic testing competency for client work. Learn the therapeutic framework for assessment and treatment planning. Develop your read on when clearance is indicated and when it isn't.

Client-facing

Taking it to clients

The shift from doing the work on yourself to delivering it with clients. Supervised practice with real clients, direct mentoring from Alexia in group calls, complex case material: identity-level patterns, trauma indicators. Professional documentation practice.

Practical delivery

Wrapping it around the way you work

Submit your two case studies and complete a live demonstration. Then the practical piece: how you structure sessions, how you integrate HTC with the methods you already use, what packages you offer, and how it fits the practice you're actually running.

These arcs are a guide, not a fixed roadmap. Some people binge the online material up front and spend six months working through it with questions; others move at the pace of the calls. Alexia responds to what the cohort brings, and the structure flexes around that.

How the training runs.

  • Bi-weekly live group calls with Alexia: 2 hours each, supervision-style, recorded for later review
  • Online learning portal with structured modules between calls: methodology, technique, ethics, business
  • Practice partner pairings for working through technique with peers
  • Direct feedback and case discussion in group calls
  • The Practitioner Community: connect with your cohort, and put your questions to Alexia and the wider practitioner community between calls
  • Recorded sessions so you can revisit specific demonstrations or supervision moments
  • All training materials accessible for the duration of training plus 12 months after certification

The bi-weekly cadence is structured. Not every week (which protects integration time), not monthly (which would lose continuity). Six months is the duration the method needs to land properly: fast enough to maintain momentum, slow enough that the work integrates.

What's required for certification.

HTC Practitioner Certification is a real credential. To earn it:

  • Complete six months of training: participation in live group sessions, completion of online modules
  • Submit two case studies: properly documented client work demonstrating method delivery, treatment planning, and outcomes
  • Pass certification assessment: one round included in the standard fee; resubmission fees apply if needed
  • Demonstrate energetic testing competency in supervised sessions
  • Complete a live demonstration during one of the group training sessions

Pass certification, and you receive your HTC Practitioner Certificate, become eligible for the Practitioner Network, and unlock access to Level 3 advanced training (Absolute Healing, Head Trash Coaching, Advanced HTC).

This isn't graduation-and-forgotten certification. The work continues: Level 3 deepens it, the network keeps practitioners connected, and the Clearance Club is available for use with your clients.

And you're joining the ecosystem.

The full ecosystem is covered on the training overview. As a quick reminder, certification comes with:

  • Marketing support from a professional marketer: positioning, messaging frameworks, templates, swipe files
  • Client-ready tools: the Clearance Club, the practitioner client management dashboard, structured programmes, scripts, session templates
  • Ecosystem authority: four books, over 2M downloads across four podcasts, documented case studies
  • Measurement built in: an introduction to the Ladder of Growth, plus 3 personal LoG assessments included in your training (worth £450 to £600)
  • Level 3 tracks: Absolute Healing, Head Trash Coaching, Advanced HTC, specialist applications
  • The Practitioner Network: peer community, quarterly workshops, referrals, directory listing

Your growth gets measured too.

At Head Trash we're committed to personal growth. That's the point of the method: HTC helps people grow personally and professionally, and pairing it with Ladder of Growth assessments means we can demonstrate that change meaningfully to the people we work with.

That includes you. Training in HTC involves significant inner work, and it's only right that you get to witness your own growth journey while you do it. So Level 2 includes an introduction to the Ladder of Growth plus 3 personal assessments, chosen from the Therapist, Coach or Anxiety profiles (worth £450 to £600). Together with the 2 assessments included at Level 1, you build a measured picture of how you're changing across your whole training journey.

And there's a simpler reason: we're confident in the method and its efficacy, so we're happy to have our work assessed. Transparency matters. If the training is doing what we say it does, your scores will show it.

Three ways into Level 2. Pick the one that fits.

HTC Level 1 certification is required for direct Level 2 entry. If you haven't completed Level 1, take the L1+L2 Bundle, which includes Level 1 Group Training as part of the package.

Practitioner Mastery: me in your pocket.

Practitioner Mastery is built for serious practitioners. Not for everyone. But if you're building a practice with HTC as the foundation, and you want the founder of the method working alongside you for the year, it's the closest thing available.

What's included beyond the Level 2 training

  • ~2 hours of deep 1:1 healing work per month with Alexia: your own ongoing inner work
  • ~2 hours of business support per month: strategy, positioning, offer development, marketing review, practice direction
  • 30-minute check-in sessions on demand: book when you need a fast answer or a stuck point unstuck
  • Messaging support: direct access to Alexia for shorter questions between sessions
  • Document review: Alexia reviews your website copy, programme descriptions, offer documents, marketing materials
  • Mini video tutorials: focused explanations when you hit a sticking point

Billed quarterly: 4 payments of £4,995 across 12 months. Monthly billing available at +15% (£1,915/month for 12 months). Mastery is a 12-month commitment by design: dropping out before the final quarterly payment means no certification, because the final quarter falls in the final month when assessments are due.

What practitioners say.

HTC flips the script. Instead of waiting for stuff to emerge and having to drag it out of someone's subconscious, the method brings it to the surface instantly, and then I can use my training, my attachment theory, my insight, all of it. I come out of sessions feeling lighter, not drained.

I could propose this to any of my clients, no matter their beliefs or limitations. I can handle anything they throw at me. The journey one client can take with me has expanded. Right after a clearance, the person looks different. The way they move, the way they breathe.

Marise Hyman
Marise Hyman HTC Practitioner & Workplace Wellbeing Lead

Having used the HTC method successfully to work on my own fears and anxiety around pregnancy and childbirth when nothing else seemed to help, I was keen to put this new-found knowledge to practical use with my own clients. HTC will allow me to expand my practice to work with clients for whom this technique might be of more benefit than CBT.

The head trash clearance method is a LIFESAVER. I would have paid 10 times the amount to access this information. I recommend it to anyone who is letting their fears get in the way of them living their best life.

I could feel changes happening in myself as well as witnessing a softening, an objectivity, neutrality replace concerns and inner conflict, in the space of one short session. Head Trash Clearance has vast potential as a life-changing method.

I wish I had discovered this 10 years ago. I would have saved myself $70k in therapy training.

HTC is the Carlsberg of therapy; probably the best in the world.

Common questions.

No. Therapists, coaches, organisational practitioners, performance practitioners, healers, and career-changers all train at Level 2. What HTC training doesn't teach is the foundational client-holding skills: open-ended questioning, deep listening, holding space. If you bring those from prior training or from substantial management or leadership experience, HTC adds the technique that produces change. If you don't, you'll want to develop them alongside the training.

Then the L1+L2 Bundle is your route. It includes L1 Group Training (the 2-month version with bi-weekly live calls) plus the full Level 2.

It depends. For results-led practitioners, HTC sometimes becomes the primary method and other tools fall by the wayside. For other practitioners, HTC slots in alongside existing work and the toolkit broadens. Either way: your existing training never goes to waste. It powers your HTC practice: the reading, the therapeutic judgement, the strategic frame. The active toolkit may narrow over time; the underlying training compounds.

They're built for different jobs. Practitioner Mastery is practitioner training plus your own healing and inner work plus business and marketing support, all running together across the year. The L1 1:1 Immersion is healing and learning HTC for your own personal use and mastery; it isn't practitioner training.

No. The training is open to therapists, coaches, healers, workplace and organisational practitioners, performance practitioners, HR managers and team leaders, career-changers, yoga teachers, personal trainers, nutrition coaches, and anyone seriously committed to delivering structural change. The architecture of the method doesn't sort practitioners by professional credentials.

Yes, that's how most practitioners use it. HTC slots into existing therapeutic, coaching, energetic, somatic, or organisational practice. It adds the depth of work your existing toolkit wasn't designed to reach.

The next Level 1 Group cohort starts in September 2026, with the Level 2 cohort following in October 2026. L2 cohorts run roughly twice yearly thereafter.

Live sessions are planned for 3pm CET. Additional slots will be made available if required, for example if we have a lot of students in different time zones.

We understand that life gets in the way, just let us know. You can still get your questions answered through the Practitioner Community and we can pick these up in the sessions on your behalf, then you can watch the session replay.

For this cohort, yes. Current pricing is held for this intake. Prices increase from the following cohort. If you're considering training and pricing matters, this is the cohort to be in.

Yes. Book a fit conversation with Alexia. For practitioners considering Mastery specifically, or those with significant prior training wondering how HTC fits, this is the right step.

Alexia Leachman

A note from Alexia.

I've been training practitioners in this method since 2011. In that time, I've watched experienced therapists, brand-new coaches, midwives, executives turned wellbeing leads, yoga teachers building niche practices, and career-pivoters from corporate become powerful HTC practitioners. The variable that matters isn't where you started. It's whether you can do the work on yourself first, hold space for others as they do theirs, and stay structurally rigorous in your delivery.

If you're considering training, the most important step before enrolment is the fit conversation. Not a sales call: an actual conversation about whether HTC is right for the work you want to do.
